Features:

Automatic Test Routines

The MT10 is developed to make testing fast and easy with a design which is optimised for maximum comfort and testing functionality.
Automatic testing of tympanometry and reflexes or just plain tympanometry can be carried out without pushing a single button. Yet the MT10 is flexible enough to meet the requirements asked for in diagnostic situations as well as in screening applications.

Extended Tympanometry Test

The tympanometry test carries standard pressure limits of +200daPa to -300daPa.
To avoid mistaking a low negative middle ear pressure for a flat curve, also an extended tympanometry test with a pressure limit of-600daPa is available.

Diagnostic Reflex Test

4 reflexes may be tested for each ear. The reflex test of the MT10 can be made with pre-programmed fixed intensities and frequencies, or with an automatic reflex search.
This flexible test system can easily reveal reflex growth as well as reflex threshold indication.
True diagnostic value of the reflex testing is assured as all reflex testing is being carried out with pressure automatically adjusted to maximum compliance.

Audiometry

Audiometric screening is possible with the MT10. As stimulus is presented through the ear tip, ambient noise is attenuated. Stimulus ranges from 10 to 50dB HL at frequencies 500Hz - 4kHz. Results are shown and printed in normal audiogram format.

Printing

Results may be printed out on the matching high speed thermal printer MTP10, or monitored and printed out through a PC using the Interacoustics "PrintView" program. Also data may be transferred to the Interacoustics data base program "IaBase95" and printed out from there along with various other patient data.

When used with the charging base MTI10, a direct connection to an inkjet printer is possible.

Printer Share with Audiometers

The MTP10 printer accepts direct connection to the AS216 Automatic Audiometer , the AD226 Diagnostic Audiometer or the AD229 Diagnostic Audiometer, any of which will make a very elegant and cost effective combination.

20 patients in memory

An on-board memory can hold the test results of 20 selected patients. This makes it possible to test or screen large groups of patients in hospitals, schools, factories etc. The transfer of selected data to computer or printer can then be made whenever convenient.

Available Software

A variety of software for PC is available:

Advanced Pump System

The pump system of the MT10 employs the same endless airflow technique as that of our clinical impedance instruments. The endless airflow technique avoids any addition to testing time caused by resetting mechanisms triggered by difficult test situations. Thus quick tests are achieved also in difficult testing situations.
