The
AZ26 is a highly sophisticated clinical impedance instrument where
special attention has been given to maximize ease of operation.
The Impedance Audiometer
incorporates a large LCD-display where graphic read-outs are drawn in
real time, providing the user with a maximum of test information.
The AZ26 provides the possibility of performing all tests totally
manually, but alternatively all single tests can be run automatically or
a full test sequence may be pre-programmed directly from the front plate
and started by the touch of a button.
All results shown on the LCD display are stored in the on-board memory.
The results can be recalled and reviewed on the display as required and
the test results can be printed out on the built-in high quality thermal
printer.

Dedicated
Keys
For maximum ease of
operation the most commonly used functions are accessed via dedicated
command keys.
This means that e.g. Go/Stop, Intensity and Frequency keys, as well as
Ipsi and Contra can be selected directly.
Soft
Keys
All automatic test
routines and programming options are accessed via software defined
function keys or "Soft Keys".
Although there are numerous programming possibilities and more than
twenty individual tests which may be performed on the AZ26 all options
can be selected using only six Soft Keys.
Probe
Features
Both the head band and the
probe system has been specially developed for the AZ26. The probe is
easily detached from the headband and transformed into a handheld unit
e.g. for testing children.
Manual
Pump
The feature of totally manual
pump control offered by the AZ26 enables the performance of individually
adapted tympanometry with difficult to test patients. Also reflex tests
at non-peak pressure and manual ETF tests is offered by the manual pump
control of the AZ26.
