Q-400 AND Q-500
Extremely compact and simple to use, the Q-400 and Q-500 Multi-Function Noise Analyzers from Quest are the most versatile instruments available today.
The Q-400, a Type 2 analyzer, provides all the accuracy you need for most applications. The Q-500, a Type 1 analyzer, offers the ultimate in sound measurement precision and is the model of choice when exceptionally accurate readings are necessary. The Q-400 and Q-500 are simple to set up and even easier to operate. Menu-selectable instructions guide you through the set-up process quickly and clearly. The units are uniquely supported by QuestSuiteTM for Windows Software.
Each monitor has two independently programmable channels which can be used simultaneously when taking noise measurements. It's like having two noise analyzers in one compact case.
The rugged Q-400 and Q-500 are ideal personal or area dosimeters for industrial noise control, hearing conservation compliance, community noise or any other application requiring accurate noise measurement and documentation.
You can also set the parameters for the Q-400/Q-500 with your PC using the QuestSuiteTM for Windows. This allows you to easily set up several analyzers with identical parameters. After you have selected the parameters, simply give the analyzer to the person taking the measurements and instruct him or her to press the "RUN/PAUSE" button to begin the analysis, then press it again to stop.

Why settle for noise dosimeter systems that merely
document exposures for compliance .when the latest
innovations from Quest will assist you in proactively reducing or preventing
them altogether? After all, the risk and cost of
compensable hearing loss is typically far greater
than the risk and cost of a regulatory violation.
The new NoisePro Series dosimeters and latest QuestSuite® Professional Applications Software provide “The System Solution” for professionals responsible for occupational hearing conservation. More than just a recorder of history, “The System Solution” from Quest serves hearing conservationists needs on three unique fronts. An Optional Vibrating Belt Clip promotes the usage of hearing protection and/or self-management of daily noise exposures. The convenient Go/No- Go Screen Icons provide technician and worker-friendly indications of exposure status. Powerful QuestSuite Professional Application Software enables the user to perform Engineering and Administrative Controls Simulation prior to their purchase or implementation. This includes task-based assessments using dosimetry and/or sound level meter studies. But the benefits don't end there.
