Middle Ear Analyzers, Tympanometers, Impedance audiometers with high frequency probe tones AT235h

The AZ7 Impedance Audiometer is a complete manually controlled instrument for analyzing the impedance and reflexes of the middle ear. The large analogue meters provide very detailed information. This way of operating an impedance bridge is appreciated in teaching institutions as well as in clinics where PC connection is not a must.

The AZ26

The AZ26 is a highly sophisticated clinical impedance instrument where special attention has been given to maximize ease of operation. The Impedance Audiometer incorporates a large LCD-display where graphic read-outs are drawn in real time, providing the user with a maximum of test information. The AZ26 provides the possibility of performing all tests totally manually, but alternatively all single tests can be run automatically or a full test sequence may be pre-programmed directly from the front plate and started by the touch of a button.

The MT10 The MT10 is developed to make testing fast and easy with a design which is optimised for maximum comfort and testing functionality.
Automatic testing of tympanometry and reflexes or just plain tympanometry can be carried out without pushing a single button. Yet the MT10 is flexible enough to meet the requirements asked for in diagnostic situations as well as in screening applications.

The AT235 & 235H Impedance Audiometer

Interacoustics’ endless airflow technique used in the AT235 is the perfect way to ensure proper function in difficult test situations, for example with crying or fidgeting children. In such situations, an intermittent seal in the initial test phase will never result in time consuming resetting periods.

Another unique feature is the intelligently controlled pump system, which incorporates an adaptive speed control. This combines a very fast test speed with high resolution of the tympanogram peak that traditionally is only available by using slower pump speeds.

AT235

AT235H High Frequency Tympanometry

In addition to the standard 226Hz probetone tympanogram, it is possible to record a similar tympanogram using a higher frequency probetone. As different screening protocols call for different frequencies of the high probetone, the AT235h offers 678Hz, 800Hz or 1000Hz as selected by the user.

A tympanogram recorded using one of the high probetones is generally considered better suited for screening of neonates than tympanograms obtained using the traditional 226Hz probetone.

Children’s Train

A train may be displayed on the screen, to get the attention of the child. Test results can be monitored simultaneously with displaying the train.
