Quest 1700
Quest's Model 1700 precision and 2700 general purpose sound level meters are microprocessor-based meters which are both versatile and easy to use. The meters display sound level, max level, peak and impulse readings on a clear, easy-to-read, digital LCD complemented by a quasi-analog bar graph.
With a combination of easy-to-use slide switches and pushbuttons, the 1700/2700 provides for simple operation. Housed in a rugged, light-weight case with internal shielding, the 1700/2700 can withstand the pounding of everyday use.
To conduct noise measurements from remote locations, the microphone and pre-amp are easily detachable. This flexibility also provides for input from other devices including the Quest Model VI-90 Vibration Integrator.
The capabilities of the Model 1700/2700 can be further expanded by adding any of the Quest Octave Band Filter Sets, both of which feature manual and automatic sequencing.
Quest 1800
An advanced microprocessor technology, coupled with a practical, compact design, make the Model 1800 precision impulse integrating sound level meter extremely reliable and simple to use. The Type 1 meter provides precision accuracy at an affordable price for a variety of industrial, community, R & D and audiometric applications.
Utilizing the 1800, slow, fast, impulse and peak response are possible. The multi-purpose meter combines precision accuracy and outstanding features in a sturdy light-weight housing. Manual and automatic octave band analysis are possible with the Quest Octave Band Filter Sets. In addition, the 1805 version with 5dB exchange rate may be ordered.

Quest 1900
The Quest 1900 (Type 1) and 2900 (Type 2) Integrating/Datalogging Sound Level Meters enable the use of one instrument to analyze "A", "C" or Linear weighted sound levels using a choice of exchange rates. With the use of 1/3 or 1/1 octave band studies, integrating all the information together in one file is easy.
Create and store multiple files without having to print or download the instrument. The information will stay in memory, even if the instrument is turned off or the batteries taken out.
The capabilities of the model 1900/2900 can be further expanded by adding any of the Quest Octave Band Filter Sets, which feature manual and automatic sequencing.
Quest
1400/2400
Quest's easy-to-use model 1400 and 2400 basic sound level meters offer all of the same features in Type 1 and Type 2 accuracies. The 1400 provides precision Type 1 accuracy while the 2400 offers Type 2 accuracy for general purpose noise measurements.
Two operating modes and great portability make the 1400 and 2400 the perfect choice for many industrial, military, law enforcement and environmental applications.
The large LCD display provides up-to-the-second readings in 0.1dB increments as well as indicating a low battery (LOBAT) condition, and the slide switches make the meters extremely easy to operate, even while wearing work gloves.
With their tough, die-cast metal case, which is both impact and crush-resistant, the 1400 and 2400 are about as red, rugged and reliable as they come.
