The Wizard audiometer features a large, easy-touch color display that
conveniently adapts to any testing height and allows full-screen monitoring of
real-time test data. To streamline data entry, customized subject questions and
answers can be entered right on the screen. Operators enter data just once and
the choices are then stored in convenient drop-down lists that activate with a
touch. When it's time to test, the user simply touches the screen to start and
spoken auto-test instructions are given in a choice of one of seven languages.
This allows each subject to more confidently respond to the test tones, and
assures a more reliable measure of their hearing acuity.
A host of time-saving features also help ensure OSHA compliance. The new
patent-pending ID Wizard™ verifies and documents that all the earphone,
handswitch, and OSCAR™ cables are correctly connected. Additionally, a daily
Biological Log is automatically updated and can be printed out on demand.
Comprehensive information on a particular audiometer and its calibration records
are available at a touch of the display.
Up to 2,000 audiometric records can be stored, making the Wizard infinitely mobile and allowing comprehensive testing at any location. In addition, the audiometer will automatically calculate threshold shifts and PBI and provide instant archive-quality audiogram records via the quiet, built-in printer. For data transfer, an RS232C interface provides remote batch capability or serves as a direct link to mainframe computers or PC-based data management software such as Tremetrics FOSHM™.
